That,s true. well i fish for anything at all from salmon which if i could i would flyfish for them everyday to mackerel or pike in the winter months whenever i can. One of the nephew,s took into fishing last year caught his first trout on the spinning rod but bought himself a flyrod this year he,s only learnin to cast but i got him into a spot to catch a few perch with a bloody butcher due to him spending 2 days on the river without a catch he has alot to learn he,s keen and i,m willing to help him out. so i should have a few stories for ya,s and the odd picture i have a few others i,ll post when i get a chance. Was havin a great trout season until the heatwave so i,m thinkin about turnin to the sea soon no mackerel as yet but the first sign of rain im off for a salmon hopefully. Cheers for all the welcomes lads TIGHTLINES to you all....

Yeah I say the next flood will have mighty fishing for the salmon but when will it come god only knows
The mackerel are scarce too from the shore at the moment but the pollock fish is crazy, bass are gone quiet enough too but I can't wait till we get rain for the salmon

the buddy got a few mackerel got in cobh the other day .. litterally a few 5 to be exact ..
anything happening elsewhere..?
