Was anyone at the march yesterday, I must say I was expecting a bigger crowd than 2000 but at least it's a start I just thought every club should have had at least 10 members there so we really need to get people at the next one at the end of the day it's our sport that is at risk I know it was a long way to travel but it shouldn't matter how far it is if we care for our salmon and seatrout If this goes ahead then we can kiss our salmon and trout stocks goodbye

I was there with the someone who doesn't fish and was only there to give support as they know how passionate I am about the sport. They wondered it if this is the threat that its supposed to be why wasn't there 10,000 there creating a right rumpus. Still it's a start!

Well done to everyone who attended the march. Unfortunately, with the state of the economy people can't afford to travel anymore to lend their support to these demonstrations. Big clubs may be able to organise buses but for the vast majority of anglers it's a costly day out and one they cannot afford when they are struggling to pay their mortgage and with more taxes on the way.

A good day out and great to see a decent crowd but was expecting more. Seemed aswell that more people were at Eyre Square then when we got to Spanish Arch? Might be just me. Pity though that more people didn't come. Same people who would probably be at the river at the drop of a hat if there was a drop of rain but didn't bother making the effort over a much more important matter. Good media coverage at least, next step get td's and councillors on board.
