Heres a fly i have always done well with for white trout during the day fishing with a floating line and a sinking polyleader. Any single hook Tail-GP crest feather Tag-silver wire Body-holo silver tinsel Hackle-Kingfisher blue cock Wing-black squirrel with some teal feathers on top Jc eyes

Like that a lot! Is it in coloured water you find it works in the daytime? Very hard down this way to catch them in the day time on wet fly, unless there's a tinge of colour

mark thats a smahing fly i would use that no problem at all, for some reason a teal blue and silver dont work too much for me but your fly looks the buisness with the yellow tail and black wing

Very hard down this way to catch them in the day time on wet fly, unless there's a tinge of colour I'd always use this fly on the lower part avoca river during the day reddie when the water would be at a normal height,its a big enough river plus the addition of the sinking polyleader is getting the fly down into the lies.
